Rachel Muldoon

Rachel originally discovered yoga from an athleticism-focused route. A lifelong dancer of ballet and modern dance, she constantly strived to move her body creatively, energetically, and freely. Delving deeper into the practice and traveling and learning from teachers of varying backgrounds from all over the world, yoga became more than a workout routine and more of an hour to practice being present, to strengthen the mind and spirit. Also working as a speech-language pathologist, Rachel has explored mindfulness from a therapeutic background, guiding people who stutter or have social communication difficulties into a more positive and fulfilling lifestyle. She enjoys exploring ways to make mindfulness and intentionality realistic and accessible in everyday life. Her classes continue to be active and challenging, while helping students to find their personal edge, whether physically, mentally, or spiritually. She received her YA certification through Yoga District in Washington D.C. in 2013.
